Michael Drake is a voice-over and narration artist formally trained and highly skilled in audio depiction and on-camera presentations. Specializing in corporate and industrial programming, documentaries, image campaigns and politicals, he combines an extensive background in film and video production, the broadcast media, and an advanced proficiency in ear-prompting, with years of formal training in voice and technique.
He has produced and presented a variety of programming for both broadcast and corporate television. He has written, produced, directed and narrated image and promotional campaigns, as well as public service and educational programming for a variety of business and government clients. Corporate clients range from AT&T and Anheuser Busch to the American Institute of Architects and Aerojet TechSystems; and from Saudi Aramco to the Sacramento Municipal Utilities District. Government clients range from the California Senate to the Department of Health Services and from the Department of Commerce to the Department of Defense.
In television news he has written, produced, and reported numerous award winning documentaries, multi-part series, and special reports. He has produced and anchored nightly newscasts, public affairs programs, and news specials in several worldwide markets. Much of his work has appeared on both the ABC and NBC television networks. As a media and presentations skills trainer and strategist, he has worked with business leaders, government officials, and a variety of spokespersons including artists, authors and other celebrities to help them develop communications skills for presentations on the media and before live audiences.
Michael has won an American Association of Communicators - President's Media Award, a Cine Golden Eagle, two NAMAs, and numerous other regional and national awards for news and station image campaigns, corporate and promotional programs, and public service programming.
